Jacob's Mission

Hey guys! Hope you all are doing well! We found 2 friends this week! Rhoda and Armando. One for each branch! Rhoda we found while contacting at a bus station, she said she'd gone to the church several years ago and would be willing to learn more about the church! Armando was invited to church by one of the members, he was really touched by the spirit during Elder's quorum. After that I invited him to learn more about the gospel. There's not nearly as much benefit from talking about faith as opposed to exercising it! Love you all! Öldungur Rasmussen

Hello hello hello! How is everyone doing? This week was really good! We taught a dude named Wael, I can't remember if I mentioned him last week, but he's super elect. He loves Christ and loves meeting with us! On Wednesday we met him, but the member that was gonna go with us slept in and didn't show up, so we taught him the whole restoration in Spanish. The gift of tongues was there, and Elder Whittle's also really gotten Spanish down! We also said goodbye to the Sisters that day! There won't be Sisters in Iceland for a period of time, which is gonna be awesome because then we can do all of our meetings in Icelandic. It will be a little sad though, they were good at keeping energy levels high. We had a Karaoke party with our english class because they all graduated! It was really fun, they're super awesome. On friday we moved into Kópavogur because we're now in a trio with Elder Carr. He came that friday as well. It's weird to be back here, this is where...

Hello Hello Hello! This week was pretty cool. We had zone conference! It was my first as zone leader, so it was a little different. We gave a training about serving with "All your heart, might, mind, and strength". It went well! The others said that it went well and that it was enjoyable. Afterwards we made a bunch of posters for something called the Book of Mormon Experiement. They said "What does the Book of Mormon say about Jesus Christ?" Then people get the chance to read the page from the Book of Mormon and highlight all of the references to Christ. Then they have the opportunity to sign the poster as a witness that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. It was great and it helped us all have high spirits as we did street contacts! We went to Joanna and Olafur's for dinner. They were too busy to cook like they normally do, so they bought pizza.
