Jacob's Mission

Helloooooooooooooo People How's it going? This week was pretty cool. We went to Denmark on Wednesday and had a double zone conference on thursday. We had a training, as well as the STLs and ZLs of the other zone. We (Elder Mattson and I) were also conducting. Elder Bernskov, one of the area 70s was there. Haha... We did each of the trainings 3 times. The first rotation of missionaries included President Mattsson and Elder Bernskov. I was a litttttle nervous and we were running short on time. But all 3 rotations went alright at least. People in each group said that it was genuinely helpful, so that made me feel good! Then at lunch, I was waiting in line for food behind Elder Bernskov. He turned around and complimented the training as well! That made me feel good, I'm glad he liked it. (We taught on how to invite the spirit as we begin teaching people). In Denmark we also got to attend an endowment session at the temple, it was epic. President Mattsson's a beast, the Mattsson...

This week was pretty pretty solid! On tuesday we taught Sheyla again, she's really awesome! It's so cool to see her desire to be more Christlike, and the effort she puts in to meet that desire! We taught that at like 7:30am, then right afterwards we had interviews with president. The weather was pretty awful.... Wednesday we were on splits with the APs again! This time I was with Eldef Sorenson. He's a beast. We had district council, then we went to a library to do some companionship study. After that we got to do some knocking! It was great, we found a new friend, Esther! She's pretty cool. Later that day we went to a different library to teach a man named Samuel. The lesson went really well. It was the first time that anyone not a member of the church quoted James 1:5 to me haha. He's really great! Thursday was LONG. We woke up at 3:00am to take the APs to the airport, about 45 minutes away. Between that time and 7:00, I drove like 3 hours straight. The weather wa...

Hello people! This week was pretty solid! I'm pooped. On Tuesday we picked up the APs from the airport for splits! Elder Sorenson and Elder Willis. I was with Elder Willis. He's Irish and he's a beast. We've been working hard! Joanna and Ólafur invited me over on Saturday to have a little party for my birthday! They're taking baby steps towards baptism but I'm sure that they are making those steps. Sheyla! Miracle referral from Washington, wants to be baptized and is determined to not let work interfere.
