Umdæmiskeisari???

Hello beautiful people!

Shout out to my brother who graduated this week!

This week was amazing! On tuesday we got transfer news. President Mattsson called me as I was finishing getting ready, and I had a little panic attack but it was because he assigned me to be district leader and said I'd be moving to Reykjavik. After we got that news we contacted as many people as week could and got as many visit as possible! It gave us an opportunity to meet with Jóhanna again. It was amazing to see her! Keep her in your prayers! She's fighting some though battles in her personal life. We also got to visit several members, one of which gave us some American dr.pepper and I was loving it. I drank a can with every meal for 2 days.

On thursday I said goodbye to our icelandic class and one of them started crying... 😅

Friday we came to Reykjavik for district council, where we then started transfers!

On saturday we stopped by this lady named Hallveig, who agreed to meet again to learn more about the gospel.

On sunday we went to church. It was so weird to see all the members whom I was around in training. Then we went to our friend who's named Funke to teach a lesson. She's awesome! She was talking about the reading assignment she had and was absolutely feasting on it! She's amazing. Her friend from Spain walked in too. She didn't speak English, but the spirit of pentacost was there and I invited her to sit in on the lesson, where she said she could understand most English but not speak a word of it. After that we found a miracle spanish book of mormon in the car, and she said she'd like to meet again!

Elder Pearson is my new comp. He goes home at the end of the transfer, and he's cracked at icelandic. So I'm hoping that I'll get over my plateau soon.

The way that the city is split up, is that we have the same area boundaries in both areas, but my area teaches all the english and Icelandic lessons, while the other area goes for all the Spanish ones.

One of the venezuelan members got set apart as a missionary and is serving with the sisters here, which is pretty awesome! Iceland now has 12 young missionaries!
